I became a nurse out of a desire to improve my patients’ quality of life. As a nurse, I can make a daily impact on every one of my patients. While physical health plays a big role in our overall health, I think that it’s also important to consider our values, continue deepening relationships with loved ones, and practice self-care. 

I am motivated by a desire to learn, and I’m always taking on new challenges and new opportunities. I’m also motivated to maintain my health and well-being and spend quality time with my family.

## Education and Qualifications
I’ve been a Registered Nurse for over 18 years, and I hold certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). I started my nursing career in pediatric and adult intensive care. Twelve years ago, I transitioned to Interventional Radiology at Mercy San Juan Hospital.

I received my associate degree in nursing from Pacific Union College in Angwin, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in April 2022. I’m currently in a master's Family Nurse Practitioner degree to further my education.

## A Bit About Me
I grew up in Napa and moved to Roseville in 2004. Roseville has endless shopping and tons of excellent restaurants. I love the hot, dry summers and the mild winters, and I try to take full advantage of the lakes and trails in every direction. I have been together with my wife Jennifer for 10 years, and we got married in 2019.

I meditate every morning to prepare for my day, and again every evening to get my beauty sleep. I’m also doing yogi training to become a trauma-informed yoga instructor. When I’m not working or studying, I spend my time riding my Peloton bike, getting my body moving, and then relaxing in my infrared sauna. Most people don’t know this about me, but I’m obsessed with sunscreen and big hats, and I have way too many pairs of shoes.
