As a child I wanted to be a physician. But my first degree was in criminology, and I went into the forensic side of banking. After almost 10 years in the field, I changed careers. My mother needed assistance after she had a terrible accident at work, and this inspired me to enroll in an accelerated nursing program. I’ve been nursing ever since.

I’m motivated by helping others reach their goals. Seeing my clients happy inspires me to do everything to the best of my ability. I also love that nursing is such a multifaceted career. There’s always more to learn, and new ways to grow both personally and professionally. 

#Education and Qualifications
I graduated from Germantown Hospital Medical Center and School of Nursing in Philadelphia, where I received a diploma in nursing in 1997. I went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2018, and a Master of Science in Nursing degree in 2020, both the from the University of Texas at Arlington. 

My current position is in education, and I’m a clinical supervisor for RO Health. I spend my time training and overseeing the clinical staff on-site, working in school settings for medically fragile children. I also work as a nurse advocate for AARP in board service, mentoring, and caregiving support.

One of my favorite jobs is offering at-home aesthetic treatments. Not only do I have years of skill and training as a nurse, I’ve also received education and training in Botox, chemical peels, and more. In 2002, I also received certification in intradermal cosmetic tattooing. I create custom plans for all my clients, so you’ll get a tailored treatment plan. I also take the time to answer all your questions and discuss any concerns, so you’ll feel confident and comfortable.

#A Bit About Me
I grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. My parents had us traveling from the time we were born, and we spent summers in Maine, New Jersey, Florida, and Nova Scotia. I moved to LA as an adult, then 13 years ago relocated to Clayton in the East Bay. I love my neighborhood because it's small and quiet, and everyone knows one another. It also has a family atmosphere where we all look out for one another. 

I have been married for 22 years, and we have one daughter who is nearly 17. We also have several pets who are all rescues. Our cats are a Snowshoe Siamese Snowball and an American Longhair Standard. Our dog is a Weimaraner named Clyde.

Some of my favorite activities include paddle boarding, kayaking with otters, swimming, and boat rides. I also love to hike in the hills around my home. I’m really into growing my own vegetables and fruits, and I’ve just started refinishing furniture.
