I become a nurse because of my desire to help people in need. It’s such an incredible experience to help people during these challenging moments in their life. As a child, I also loved the uniform the founding nurses wore. I believe that everyone has the chance to have a good life, and it’s something we all strive for. Everyone deserves to look and feel their best, both inside and out. 

## Education and Qualifications
I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in the Philippines and also worked towards my Master’s in Nursing Education. However, working full-time and being a single parent took my focus away from education. For the first 20 years of my nursing career, I worked in emergency departments in the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, and finally here in the United States. I also have experience in pediatric intensive care, burn care, orthopedic issues, spinal cord injuries, urology, and plastic surgery.

Currently, I work in the Pre-Operation and Post Anesthesia Care Unit at the Shriners Children's hospital. I also offer at-home aesthetic treatments such as Botox, medical facial peels, microneedling, and more.

## A Bit About Me
I grew up in the Philippines and completed my education there. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree, I worked in the Philippines and Saudi Arabia to build my nursing skill set. Now I live in Rancho Cordova just outside of Sacramento. Most of my friends are nurses too, and we all live close by. 

I’m a single parent with 4 kids – 2 are adults, and 2 are teenagers. My oldest is also a Registered Nurse, and I’m very proud of all my kids! I love cooking and watching movies and series with my kids. If I have time, I also like to hike, but I usually settle for walking around my neighborhood.
