Xeomin has a longer shelf life, and it doesn’t need to be refrigerated. Without the added proteins, you’ll also have a lower risk of having an allergic reaction to the injectable.

The added proteins in Botox can improve your results, but over time your body can slowly build up antibodies against the injectable. When this happens, Botox becomes less effective at smoothing away wrinkles. With Xeomin, you’re less likely to develop any antibodies that could make the injectables less effective.

Botox and Xeomin also target different areas. Xeomin was designed to minimize frown lines. Also called glabellar lines or “11” lines, these furrows between the brows can be caused by frowning or squinting. Botox, on the other hand, can treat a range of cosmetic and medical concerns.
