I'm Fernando, an RN with over 14 years in the healthcare industry, passionate about providing excellent patient care. My journey began in the neonatal ICU and transitioned to interventional radiology, where I managed the interventional radiology department at Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. With a BSN from the University of Texas at Arlington and an MSN in nursing administration from the University of Texas El Paso, I now work at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, specializing in pediatric vascular access for MRI, CT, and nuclear medicine procedures. Originally from Texas, I've lived in NYC and now call sunny Los Angeles home, where I live with my wife, Gia, a drag queen in the WeHo scene, and our two cats, Shuri and Angel. I love brunch, attending sporting events, hiking, and cooking. Compassion is the cornerstone of my approach to patient care, and I'm excited to bring my holistic, patient-centered philosophy to the field of aesthetics.
Qualifications
I hold a BSN from the University of Texas at Arlington and an MSN in nursing administration from the University of Texas El Paso. With extensive experience in neonatal ICU and interventional radiology, I currently work as an RN at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, specializing in pediatric vascular access.
